Trip was well organized and priced very fairly. The activities were fun and the staff was helpful in guiding us on what to do first to avoid long lines. I would consider other trips with this company in the future.

Fun and wholesome day

I would definitely book this Apple Picking adventure again. We had a gorgeous day at Penning Farms. The farm is large with a wide variety of apples to pick from. The price to travel there and back from Manhattan includes 10 lbs of apples and a delicious apple cider bottle, what a bargain! The additional pumpkin patch was a cute location for pics and pumpkins. Our host, Jo was great!

Love this Apple picking adventure!

We had so much fun. This was mine and my daughter's 3rd time and this time my son came along. The short trip to a real pumpkin patch was the cherry on top. Thank you for another beautiful apple picking day.!!!

So much fun!

The day was beautiful. Joe was very informative and very perky which made the tour much more eventful. The apples were huge! And so where the pumpkins!

Long Island Wine Tour

Great day trip!

My sister and I absolutely loved our first wine tasting experience at three of the long island wineries.  We are even more delighted we chose the Soutce to guide us. The staff was amazing and the properties were just beautiful!! We are looking forward to the other activities and events the Source has to offer. I just have to mention that Maggie and Mike were absolutely the best!! They made the experience  even more pleasant. Can't wait for the next adventure 😊

Long island wine tour

Overall we had a great experience. The guides were very friendly and and trip was well-planned. We had a lot of fun tubing on the river - I only wish the tubing portion was longer!

A few areas that could use improvement:
- We re-scheduled our trip after it was cancelled the first time, and Sourced was concerned they had overbooked our new date. They were planning to kick a few people off the trip at the bus pickup if needed. This seems totally avoidable when you should know how many people are booked - and to kick them off when they are on time, packed up and ready to go is extremely poor planning. Luckily we had enough seats.
- Lunch was pretty lackluster overall, but it was abysmal for people with dietary restrictions. We had meatballs, pasta and salad. For two people in my group who had dietary restrictions (that had been communicated to Sourced in advance), they could only eat salad (essentially a plate full of iceberg lettuce).

Would book again, but it would be great to accommodate people with dietary restrictions better, or allow them to bring their own food for a partial credit.

I loved my experience the tour guides Joe and Mike were incredible. Even the bus driver Andre was nice. I would love to have the same crew again when I try to book for the snowboarding in the winter

Amazing trip will do again 

We had a great time on the wine tour with sourced adventures! The guides Jo and the other guy with the man bun (sorry I can’t remember your name) were friendly and very helpful in assisting us capturing group photos. They kept the energy up all day. It was a breeze to book and get on the bus and go and not have to worry about the ends and out of everything. 

Great time!

Overall the experience was extremely pleasant. Our guides were awesome, as was the driver. However, for almost $200, I do believe more food options should’ve been provided, as well as the amount and condiments. During the tour, I couldn’t enjoy the sandwich as it was ONLY a turkey option AND not enough condiments were provided.

This trip was awesome. Our guides were amazing and friendly. They were patient because whoa we had a time trying to get a rhythm and control. I always enjoy my adventures with sourced adventures!!!

Long Island Wine Country 

Had a lot of fun - my bf and I did the white water raft trip. Got picked up in NYC, took the bus to the rafting site and it was very organized. The rafting trip itself was a lot of fun, met some cool people and the water was beautiful. It was tough having to pause a fair amount of times to wait for everyone, but on the flip side it’s a pretty social trip which was fun! The guides were helpful and we got a quick swim in after lunch, it was the perfect amount of time on the water.
Overall the trip was fun, organized, and the perfect day trip to get away from NYC 😊

Had a blast!

This was my second LI wine tour and I'm glad I did it again. We enjoyed the wine selections from each winery. The day was perfect. Our tour hosts Holly and Jose were engaging and informative.

Such a fun wine tour 

I enjoyed the wine tour my wife and I went on with Sourced Adventures. I forget the names of the two young ladies, but they were so lovely, and overall, we had a great time. My only criticism is that I wish we had more wine. I don't think the price is justified based on what we received. We spent most of our time on the bus and got limited servings of wine. I would have enjoyed it more if we had gotten more wine.

Trip was great well organized. everything went smoothly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Amazing experience

The leaders for the trip were wonderful, communicating with us every step of the way as we faced some intense weather conditions. This is my second time doing this float and you really took care of everything we needed. I'd say the lunch quality is just so so but still a great bang for your buck all around. Shout out to Sunny especially for going through a harrowing ordeal rescuing people and losing her phone in the process.

Great under pressure

I booked this excursion along with 7 of my friends to celebrate my birthday. I have nothing but good things to say. It was a perfect way to spend the day and we got enough time in all 3 wineries to look around, take pictures or purchase wine bottles if we loved the be of the tastings. My favorite one was Raphael winery (the second one).

Long Island wine tour review 

Our group of 5 had a blast on this trip! Our guides, Sunny, Daniel and Amber, were excellent! Our bus driver was great too. 

There was a bit of (ok, a LOT of) rain toward the tail end of the trip, including on the river. It was honestly super fun and magical to experience but it did create some challenges for other folks on our tour, as the current quickly picked up speed and visibility was poor at times. (PSA: Stay to the RIGHT of the island!)

HIGHLY recommend bringing a few carabiners to make sure all your gear is clipped onto your tubes. I think a few people on the tour lost something if it wasn't secured (we almost did!). Ropes are technically not allowed to bind your group together. We found success with using our dry bag shoulder straps with carabiners to connect the 5 of us. This way it was an easy disconnect at the end of the float (no loops or knots to undo)! 

Shoutout to the guides for doing their best to keep everyone safe and on-track. Everyone made it back onto the bus!

Lunch was not the most exciting part of the day but the brewery we visited afterward (Drowned Lands) had pretty fantastic food so we got some to snack on. 

I plan on doing this trip next year and highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend some time in nature without needing to rent a car and deal with logistics.

My only recommendation for Sourced Adventure: Up the game a bit on the lunch offering. ;) 

A great way to spend the day!

It was a perfect day for kayaking. Wine tasting after kayaking was delicious too. Big thanks for our guide and driver (sorry not good with names) for running all the excursion smoothly.

Nice day outside of the city

The trip was lovely, the kayaking and winery is a wonderful combination. I gave 4 stars only because the trip was lacking communication and I sometimes felt in the air about upcoming events. For example, I had no idea that there will be lunch served. Going forward, I would send an itinerary in advance with approximate times for each part of the trip. This will reduce the number of questions our guides had to answer during the trip as well as help with commute planning after the trip is over. It would be nice to include how long you have at each location so everyone can feel more at ease. Other than that it was an amazing trip and I would do it again.

We had a superb experience here - it was well organized from start to finish. Everything worked perfectly. The guides were awesome - helpful and entertaining. Good amount of time on the river (about 90 mins) followed up with an hour at an excellent brewery with huge garden. Highly recommend for a great day out for any size group.

Good day - very nice and scenic route on river.  Guide leading kayaking trip at the front was inexperienced and did not know where to go at each turn.  Other guide was good.  Too much time at wine tasting- most of group was just waiting around after first 30-45 min.

Nice day with some areas for improvement

We literally just came home from White water rafting trip with Sourced Adventures. The trip was amazing to say the least. Everything was perfectly organized. Emily, Joe and Annalyse made this experience so memorable and exceptional. We definitely recommend and we absolutely will be coming back to try other trips❤️

It was a nice event for a Sunday afternoon. I’ve been to a few wineries and these were the most boring. There was no live music or any real entertainment such as the other wineries I’ve been to. It almost seemed mechanical, serve the tastings and get out the way. No mingling with the staff. Outsourced adventure staff was the best!!

LI Wineries 

Our group had so much fun on this trip! Everything was well organized so all we had to do was show up! All three hosts/guides were super friendly and made sure things ran smoothly and I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a day outside the city!

It was great

We were a group of 8 and we all had such an amazing time. We enjoyed each winery and our hosts were really informative and friendly!

Awesome Experience 

I’m so glad I booked this winery trip with my friends! We truly had the loveliest most relaxing day. Elise and Michael were so kind and welcoming. The drive was smooth and we even got to watch some movies. The only thing I would add is maybe a little cheese to go with the wine (which we’re all great!) and maybe a little more info about the times we were trying, but other than that I can’t think of a single thing I would change. I’ve already told some friends about it!

Fun tubing! but the bus ride seemed so so long, like we were on the bus for more then we were out in nature...maybe finding a place to tube and eat all in one rather then moving around would make it seem like we could enjoy being outdoors more.

This was such a great experience! The team was amazing and ran smoothly. We arrived at Mountain Creek around the time the slopes opened and spent all day there. The Sourced Adventures team members are friendly, punctual, and super informative. Highly recommend! Will definitely book again!

2/3/24 Ski Trip

I enjoyed my bus ride and snow tubing experience, however I felt that the dinner wasn't what I expected and we had to leave about 10 minutes after the live band started playing, which was somewhat disappointing.

This was an amazing experience. Raven and Maggie were excellent hostesses. Although we did depart later than expected, we were right on schedule for our 4 pm snow tubing slot. The excursion was well planned and the venue had everything: an escalator-type thing that brought guests up the mountain, plenty of tubing lanes so the line moved swiftly, and helpful staff to keep everyone safe. I really enjoyed myself and worked up the courage to go down head first. Then we went for a catered dinner-it was delicious! We had pasta, meatballs, salad and dessert. (A veggie alternative is available but you have to fill out a form prior).  The restaurant was part of an orchard that served ice cream (looked good but I didn’t have any-we were given an apple crunch and whipped cream as part of our catered meal). The ride back to Manhattan was, just the ride there, comfortable. The buses had charging ports at most seats, a bathroom, comfy seats, and entertainment. Will be going again and bringing friends with me! (Also solo traveler friendly!)

Snowy fun and a yummy dinner

Kelly and Kya were both great crew members ! Very informative, enthusiastic, they were kind and the driver was also very nice to us all. It was a great experience the food was delicious ! The experience was super fun and the ride was smooth. Overall satisfied ! Will definitely do it again and recommend. 

Awesome Experience !

I wish they would tell us which location they would go to. I live close to the Mahwah location and had to travel to NYC just to come back to NJ then travel back to NYC for drop off just to come back home to NJ again. Food was good but could've been better at the brewery. Overall fun trip.

Satisfied Trip

Overall the trip was fun. However, we were not taken to Mountain Creek like stated on the website instead to Campgaw Mountain. The food was ok, it was buffet style. The drinks were pretty good. I loved the non alcoholic apple cider. The farm had live music and they sell spread cheese which was delicious. Everyone was friendly. Overall the trip was great. I was disappointed that the info advertised was misleading.

Wonderful trip although I did think we were going to Mountain Creek. It didn't really matter in the end. Had a ton of fun!

Fun trip

I went on this tour for my birthday with my family. Both hosts were so friendly,funny,and kind. Joe was always available to help with pictures. The bus was comfortable and the driver was safe. All 3 winers had amazing wine and great scenery. I would definitely book the same or a different tour with them again.

Trip was perfectly organized. The vineyards we visited were beautiful although the wine tasting itself was not very into the deep, was more for fun. But that was perfectly fine and fit the entire atmosphere of an easy Sunday afternoon trip.

Apple Picking at Pennings Orchard

The experience overall was great, given the terrible weather on that day. From the staff, driver and all the local wineries we visited. The staff was well organized and uplifting. The driver was able to drive us there and from safely, in the pouring rain. The local wineries were all well prepared, welcoming, and willing to teach us, while helping us indulge in the perfect glass of wine ! Loved it

Great Experience 

My overall experience was fantastic. My friends and I decided to go on this tour to celebrate my birthday. I must say ohhh boyy did we have a time. The staff's friendliness and assistance were exceptional. The bus ride was incredibly smooth, and I relished the movies shown. My favorite part was visiting Raphael Vineyard; the wine was exquisite, and the vineyard's scenery was breathtaking. I did wish we could have had a tour of the winemaking process at one of the wineries we visited. For lunch, I ordered the Caesar salad, which was delightful, although my friends mentioned that the sandwiches weren't the best. Nevertheless, it was an overall wonderful experience.

This was my second trip and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everything about this trip is amazing from the vineyards to the team and even the weather. While it was raining in NYC we had the sun! I know you had something to do with it...lol

Back again

Love the trip 

The day was fun, but the location of the lunch was unorganized, slow and they only had enough vegan food for 2 or 3 people and non vegans had that food. What you should have done was taken orders ahead of time, so the vegans had enough to eat. They also ran out of desserts and other items. Also, the winery was not prepared for our group, that was very unorganized as well. There should have been a separate section ready and waiting for us with seating and enough staff, not everyone running around trying to find where to go and only one or 1.5 people being slammed with all of us at once and not ready or enough room for us all.

Somewhat satisfied

It was a really good time !! Joey was a delight! She was super friendly and very helpful. I forget the name of the guy that work aside her but he was great at remembering people to remind them what time to get back on the bus. 

After 2 hours those seats on the bus felt very uncomfortable lol. Bring a pillow for your bottom!

Amazing wine tastings with wide variety. Nice sangria and food available in each location. It was super peaceful.

Beautiful Summer Experience 

It was a great experience everyone was nice and helpful and the wine tasting was good and so was the food .. this is my second year enjoying the kayaking and winery tasting this is definitely a great experience for anyone!

It was a great day, weather turned out great and all the people were friendly.
Rachel and Lauren were superb leaders and were especially helpful and went out of their way to help me as a somewhat handicapped person.
The driver was also pleasant and kind.
My only suggestion would be that having some sort of paddle would be a great help!

Fun Trip

This experience for the price was amazing. Worth every penny and had a wonderful time. I would use sourced adventures again and would recommend my friends to use them as well!

It was a good trip. The organizers did a good job of explaining things. The rafting company runs a good operation. Recommended.

It was fun

We had a great time! Do wish some of the directions had been more clear (you can leave items on the bus, you can change to nice clothes for the winery), but these were very small details. The guides were great, the transitions from one activity to the other were very seamless; it was a beautiful day on the river!

The guides were amazing although the crew of the kayaking were informative, but the guy who literally read the information was a little alarmist and also you can see he wasn't quite prepared for giving us the information. I hope you can help him.

Adventure.

I took my wife on the Long Island wine tour for her 50th birthday, and she said that it was the best birthday she ever had! We enjoyed all three wineries, especially Rafael, which made us feel like we were in Europe. The lunch was delicious and filling (I had the arugula salad), the guides were friendly and helpful, and we felt as if we had plenty of time at each winery. We wish we had done this sooner!

Best Birthday Ever

Rachel and Jo were great.This was my third time doing tour and think that the wineries did less than before covid.Ospry just gave you a tray of wine and no introduction at all.Raphael was the best.Maybe you can seek out a couple of new wineries so people like us who love the trip will be inspired to keep returning.Would love strawberry picking and winery visit.lunch was plentiful.Would do it again if wineries get switched once in awhile or include a new add on like fruit picking,visit to local farm stand etc.

L.I Wine Tour 

This was my third wine trip with Sourced Adventures in three years. It’s a nice trip. I’d love to see some new wineries added to the mix in the future. Maybe a little longer at each spot, which I understand leads to a later return to the city.

I went with my 3 friends we all enjoyed the trio and we felt completely safe on the bus the bus driver was great as well.
